This laboratory is an extension of the hydrostatics & stability course in the previous semester. It introduces you to a lot of new conepts used in practical ship design, and these concepts will be used for the duration of the lab. You'll really enjoy this course since it involves you designing parts of your very own ship and then studying the hydrostatics of the hull. A very interesting course that also introduces you to the role of software (AutoCAD and SolidWorks) in our field. Make sure you are strong with MS Excel to improve your efficiency when solving assignments.
