This course forms the foundation of hydrodynamics, seakeeping, maneuvering, hull form design, and the analysis of structures. A theory heavy course where you need to watch YouTube videos to better visualize the concepts. Once you can imagine how fluid behaves in various systems, scoring is easy. Take special effort in going through the derivations, since this is a favourite for the mid and end semester exams. Pay attention to the conditions under which certain equations work (for eg. irrotational, incompressible, inviscid, homogenous etc.)
