A very important course from a mechanical or systems engineering standpoint. Introduces you to the fundamentals of electronics including the basics of circuitry and creating your own digital systems. Combined with the lab course, this is a great area to focus on if you intend to go in the IoT or core sectors. Scores can be improved by getting comfortable with electrical technology taught in the first year. While the first few lectures might seem deceptively easy, attend classes because the topics get very difficult after the mid semester.
